Background

While PairUp had a strong core concept, the platform lacked the actual interface to facilitate its mission. They had not yet designed the essential pages where users discover tracks, engage in dialogue, or manage their growth. I built these foundational pages with the goal to add functionality and update the interface.

Approach & Result

I focused on building three key interaction points. I first designed a card-based Track gallery that allowed users to browse and join interest groups. I created a minimalist chat interface for ease of messaging in pairs. Finally, I developed the Profile and Dashboard pages as a central hub, prioritizing personal interests and hobbies over corporate hierarchy to humanize the networking experience and make it feel more approachable for everyone.
